Turning clients into your ambassadors is a vital pillar of your business development and longevity. That means your client trusts you, values you and has confidence in you. You become their exclusive “go to” resource and they become your best referral source. Now, that’s loyalty.

Here’s a five-by-five-day business plan with specific actions lawyers and law firms can take to drive results. Repeat a version of this each week and you’re sure to see positive results.

By breaking out a plan into discrete increments (as in, daily), you turn each one into its own achievement. Daily action items:

MONDAY: Make clients feel valued and understood. 

TUESDAY: Stay at the top of their list for client referrals. 

WEDNESDAY: Deliver value by going beyond what they pay you for. 

THURSDAY: Build a strong network by deepening relationships. 

FRIDAY: Be consistent in your messaging and how you show up, whether by audio, video or in person.
